week one reflection

Action research is taking a practice of what I am currently doing and finding different techniques to improve it.  After finding the techniques to improve what it is I am currently doing, I can begin the process to implement the changes necessary to make the process more successful. So in a nutshell, using action research I can improve the correlation between bumpy old methods to a more modern flow for student achievement.  I would use different schematics, data retrieval, and interpreting to make solid based decisions and presentations to the principal to provide a point of view that they may have overlooked. With action research it is a continual process that requires the research to be reexamined.  This makes way for improvement as each new method is tried and tested. With more reliance on reevaluation of the material. the processes, and the end products, it is going to be essential to provide constant collaboration amongst staff for the  improvement of the school.  Hopefully with staff involvement, it would produce more cooperation and a chance for every voice not to be just heard, but have an actual impact on the direction that school going for student achievement.  With more people on board, it should drive for the success of the students coupled with interest from the key stakeholders.

Educational leaders can use blogging to possibly get annoymous answers from staff who normally won't speak up. It can be used as an information gateway for the public to keep them up to date on current issues and way to look back on old topics to make sure that the suggested outcome is actually happening.
